Notes: The dress that Altena ERICKSEN wore in the
photo was actually a fairly dark red (I have seen the material - Stan BARKER). The
photo has been colorized and the color of the dress is not accurate. The color of
the dress for this picture was apparently chosen because of a childhood statement
concerning the girl with the red dress. Lorenzo LARSEN's autobiography contains more information about this incident on page 32. - Stan
